ABOUT RAHWAY FUTURE SCHOLARS
Our Program
Rutgers Future Scholars Rahway is our newest expansion program of RFS through the Rutgers network. We serve 15 students in each of our cohorts in grades 8 – 12 in the Rahway area. We often pair our events and programming with the nearby main campus of New Brunswick and Piscataway programs as well.
Rutgers Future Scholars (RFS) is part of a special Rutgers initiative to aid the growth of local students into higher education. We offer a myriad of resources and support programs to these local students get the necessary access to attain their higher education goals. Rutgers University supports these scholars upon admittance to the University with tuition aid and scholarship support.
RFS Rahway provides opportunities for scholars to learn and explore their futures. Participating scholars get the necessary resources to achieve academic success and opportunities to give back to the local community.
Program Highlights:
- 15 student cohorts in grades 7 – 12
- Program scholars accepted to Rutgers earn scholarships
- Applications are open to 7th graders Spring of each year
- Summer programming with elgible college credits in high school

Rutgers Future Scholars Rahway staff are composed of highly-skilled and compasionate educational professionals. Our goal is to aid in the personal growth of RFS scholars and offer them opportunities to have an impact in what they do.
