ABOUT RAHWAY FUTURE SCHOLARS
Our Program
Rutgers Future Scholars Rahway serves 15 students in each of our cohorts in grades 8-12 and provides opportunities for scholars to learn and explore their futures. We often pair our events and programming with the nearby main campus of New Brunswick and Piscataway programs.
Rutgers Future Scholars (RFS) is part of a special Rutgers initiative to aid the growth of local students into higher education. We offer a range of resources and support programs to help these students reach their higher education goals. Rutgers University supports these scholars upon admittance to the University with tuition aid and scholarship support.
Program Highlights:
- 15 student cohorts in grades 8-12
- Program scholars accepted to Rutgers earn scholarships
- Applications are open to 7th graders January of each year
- Summer programming with eligible college credits in high school
